Family pets are welcome on park with a dog walk at the bottom of the park running alongside the brook. This area is lit in the evenings.

The park offers access to a fantastic range of activities guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained, all within a few minutes of the park such as golf, cycling, walking and fishing. There are plenty of quaint little villages nearby with great pubs, independent shops and local markets to enjoy and the River Lune with great walks and cycle paths is located just across from the park entrance
You will find the Scarthwaite Hotel in the grounds where they serve food and drink and outside they have a large garden area where you can sit out and enjoy the sunshine.
Reception is staffed every day should you need any assistance and there is a launderette where you will also find books, films and games for everyone to use.
Pets are welcome at Crook O'Lune with a dog walk which is lit in the evenings so you can walk your dog at any time of the day or evening. The dog walk is alongside one of the brooks which run through the park set in a lovely woodland area. You can also walk down the dog walk as a short cut to the main road leading to the quaint village of Caton if you want to pop out for a quiet drink or meal.
The local bus stops at the entrance to the park so if you do not want to drive you can catch the bus into Lancaster where you will find a bus station and train station so making it really easy to get around.
If you’d like to get a bit of exercise during your stay, you can head to the leisure complex at the nearby sister park, South Lakeland Leisure Village, which includes a gym & swimming pool or use one of the two local gyms and pools just minutes from the park.
